Galatians 6:9 - finally found my life verse.
9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
I believe this verse is one of the best encouragments there is. There are times in life where we think weve done enough good that we can take a break and be selfish. But as you can see, the bible tells us not to. We should be able to draw from ourselves as much goodness towards others as we can, and heres the thing, it has to be for the right reason. if we do these good things expecting God to reward us, then that defeats the whole purpose of them. God will reward you for true selfless acts, with a servants heart. Starting today i will not grow weary of doing nice things for other people. It will all be for God, not for me, not for them.
